Macro works solo, but everything is better with friends. Teams get auto-shared tasks and calls, the CRM, and team memory for your agents.

Create a team and invite people

Click Team in the bottom left to create a team. You can add the first members right there, or invite more later by email from Settings → Team. Invitees see the pending invitation when they sign in. Owners can also copy an invite link for any pending invite and share it directly, instead of relying on email.
There’s no free plan for teams; every member needs a paid seat. See Billing & plans.

Auto-join on domain

Rather than invite coworkers one at a time, admins and owners can turn on Auto-join on domain from Settings → Team. When it’s on, anyone who signs up for Macro with an email on the team owner’s domain (for example @acme.com) is added to the team automatically. Toggle it off at any time to return to invite-only; existing members are unaffected either way.

Roles

Teams have three roles, in increasing order of access: Owners can remove any member except themselves. When someone is removed, they lose team-shared content automatically, and removing them from channels revokes everything that was shared there.

What’s shared with a team

Joining a team changes the default sharing for a few block types. Everything else stays private until you share it:
  • Tasks are visible to the whole team by default.
  • Calls are recorded, transcribed, and shared to team memory by default; anyone can opt a call out, which keeps it in their personal memory only.
  • Emails with tracked customers are shared through the CRM when Email Sync is on for that company.
  • Snippets stay personal until you turn on Share with team in the snippet’s side panel; a shared snippet appears in every teammate’s ; menu and they can edit it.
See Permissions for the full sharing model.

Sign-in and enterprise

Macro signs in with your Google account, the same one your Gmail or Google Workspace email syncs from. For enterprise requirements like HIPAA, FedRAMP, or running Macro on your own infrastructure, contact self-host@macro.com.
