# Unified Sharing

> Send any Block to a person, an email, or a channel from the same Share dialog.

You can send any Block to anyone. A document, task, email, call, canvas, spreadsheet, database, or folder uses the same **Share** dialog. Send it to a teammate, to an email address, or into a channel.

## Send it

Open **Share**. In **To: Email or group**, add a person, an email, or a channel. A document or task starts at **Can edit**. A PDF starts at **Can comment**. Everything else starts at **Can view**, and an email is always **Can view**. Change the level if you need to, add a message if you want one, then press **Share**.

An email address is enough to send it to that person. **Anyone with the link** stays off unless you turn it on. Only then can anyone with the URL open it, including people without a Macro account.

You stay the **Owner**. Change or remove someone later under **People with access**.

## Who can open it

* The person or channel you send it to gets the access you picked.
* Mention a Block in a channel and everyone there can open it. Someone who joins later can too. Someone who leaves cannot.
* On a team, a new task is shared unless you turn off **Share with** your team. A call started from a channel is shared unless you uncheck **Share with team**.
* **Team access** gives your whole team view, comment, or edit. **No team access** leaves the team out.
